Austin Photo Ops

Texas State Capitol: Stand on the building's south side for the best view of the massive granite building.

Austin skyline: The best view of the downtown skyline is from the south shore of Town Lake, along the hike and bike trails.

•LBJ Presidential Library: Step out by the fountain, put it in the foreground, and snap a photo of this well-known Austin landmark.

Texas bluebonnets: If you're lucky enough to visit between mid-March and mid-April, take the obligatory Texas portrait: a shot of the Texas bluebonnets. Along with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, good fields are found west of Austin in the Hill Country and along I-35.
