Neill-Cochran House, Austin

Built around 1853, this Greek Revival home was designed by Abner Cook, the builder of the Governor's Mansion.

Today the Colonial Dames of America operate the grand home and conduct tours. The house is also a good place to check out family histories--and ghost stories.

Open Wednesday through Sunday only.
