Town Lake Metropolitan Park, Austin

Location: Along the Colorado River from Tom Mill Dam to US 183 Bridge in Southwest Austin

Almost a symbol of active Austin, this metropolitan park includes 509 acres of parkland along the banks of the Colorado River from the Tom Miller Dam on Red Bud Trail to the Longhorn Dam.

The park contains 10 miles of jogging and bicycle trails surrounded by trees and greenery. An athlete's paradise, Town Lake has 17 ballfields for baseball, football, soccer, and rugby, as well as facilities for both team and performance rowing, and canoeing. Other facilities include a swimming pool, picnic areas, a playscape, and a boat ramp.
