Spicewood, Texas Travel Guide

Also see: Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, Austin

Most music fans know Austin as the home of Willie Nelson but the popular singer actually makes his home near Spicewood, a small community located west of Austin on TX 71. The redheaded stranger makes his home on an 800-acre ranch that's not only a place to kick off his boots but also an office: the private complex includes a recording studio, golf course, and a small Western "town" named Luck that's used for movie shoots.

Although Willie's ranch is closed to the public, you'll find several other diversions in Spicewood.
