Sports Activities in Austin
Austin has plenty for sports lovers to enjoy, both
as participants and observers. Fun comes in many forms. Many of
the outdoor activities revolve around the water, with windsurfing,
boating, fishing, and other watersports among the most popular.
In the summer months, Austin really lives up to its nickname of “The River City.” Austinites beat the heat on Lake Austin and Lake Travis, happily taking to the water to enjoy swimming, scuba diving, skiing, and boating.
