Bandera Rodeos

Summer means rodeo season in Bandera; look for open rodeos twice per week from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend. You'll usually find these rodeos held on Tuesday and Friday nights. Look for open rodeos at the Twin Elm Guest Ranch from May through Labor Day on Tuesday and Friday nights at 8pm. You'll also find a youth rodeo every other week at the city's Mansfield Park.

The largest rodeo in Bandera is the Cowboy Capital Rodeo Association Professional Rodeo; this event is scheduled annually the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend in May. You'll find top cowboys from around the country competing here to win points to try to qualify for the National Rodeo Finals.

For more schedule information, call the Bandera Convention and Visitors Bureau (800-364-3833).
