Barbecued Catfish

This recipe was contributed by Linda Waggoner, a Travis County Extension Office home economist.

6 small catfish, skinned
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup catsup
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Clean and fillet catfish. Combine remaining ingredients and brush some of the mixture onto the fillets. Place fish on a well-greased grill, 3 to 4 inches from hot coals, for about 5 minutes per side or until fillets test done.

Brush frequently with remaining sauce during grilling.
