If you liked the Luling City Market in Luling, then
don't miss this location. The owners aren't related, but the restaurants
have the same concept and recipes, giving Houston a taste of small-town
barbecue the way it ought to be. As at the old hometown meat markets, you order up
brisket and pork ribs by weight here. We were smitten with both
the smoky, moist brisket and the crunchy, spicy ribs, both served
up with coleslaw, beans, and potato salad. We didn't get to try
beef links and chicken, but if they come close to the other items,
