Brother's Bar-B-Que, Llano

It's not too common to see a barbecue restaurant and a service station sharing the same building. But then, there's nothing too common about Brother's. Its tasty offerings are definitely uncommonly good, even in a small town where good barbecue is more prevalent than good ranch land, good deer hunting, and good weather.

Brother's began as the operation of Jack Graham, whose brother Ben runs the service station. When you're ready for a fill-up on good barbecue, stop by and give this joint a try. But leave yourself some extra time.

The menu, posted on a signboard and spilling out onto half a dozen sheets of paper tacked to the wall, is extensive. Brisket trimmed and untrimmed. Pork steak. Chopped beef. Pork ribs. Chicken half. Chicken whole. Plates served with salad, beans, and tea. The list goes on.
