Star of Texas Rodeo

As most Texans know, this was (thankfully!) a rainy weekend across much of the state. That rain didn’t slow down the weekend’s special events, however, including Austin’s Star of Texas Rodeo. We visited Friday night so we could check out the rodeo grounds as well as the barbecue competition which ran through the weekend.
The rodeo will be running for two more weeks; check out the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo website for details and the schedule of remaining events.
