San Antonio's McNay Art Museum Planning $50.8 Million Expansion
The Spanish Revival-style 1920s home that houses the McNay Art Museum, San Antonio's first museum of modern art, is going to be undergoing a major expansion. Look for a new 45,000-square-foot exhibition facility designed by architect Jean-Paul Viguier in 2008. The expansion will allow the museum to host larger exhibitions as well as increase the McNay’s ability to show more of its collection, including beautiful outdoor sculpture gardens for the museum’s growing sculpture collection.Labels: San Antonio
