With 30,000 Iowa residents headed to San Antonio this week for the Alamo Bowl, we were interviewed on Des Moines’ WHO radio about Texas travel. For half an hour, we enjoyed talking about San Antonio as well as day trips into the Hill Country on the call-in show. The station gave away copies of our Insiders’ Guide to San Antonio during the call, a fun way to introduce travelers to the state’s top vacation destination.
