San Antonio's First Birding, Nature Festival

This year marks the first year of WildFest San Antonio, a birding and nature festival. Scheduled for May 4-6, 2007. Locations highlighted during the festival will include Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, Medina River Natural Area, Government Canyon State Natural and the Missions National Historical Park.

The three-day festival will include workshops, tours and hands-on fieldtrips focusing on the area's birds, butterflies, bats, wildflowers, history and geology. The festival will offer events for participants from children to experts.
