Located at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, Texas, this grotto draw many visitors. The structure was built in the 1920s by Czech settlers who constructed the grotto as a replica to the famous grotto at Lourdes, France. The grotto is located right beside the road; you’ll find parking behind the church. Be sure to get out and walk to the grotto for a look at the structure and the adjacent stations of the cross; the hilltop location also offers good views of the surrounding countryside. To reach the grotto from La Grange, travel south on US 77 to FM 2436.
