41808: NYLO Hotels Breaks Ground In Irving

Just 10 minutes from the DFW Airport, work is now underway on a new NYLO Hotel at Las Colinas in Irving. The 200-room hotel will open in May, 2009.

The five-story NYLO Las Colinas will sit on more than five acres at the northwest corner of Royal Lane and Sierra Drive.

It sounds like the hotel will be a prime meeting spot with a 3,000-square-foot ballroom and over 6,000 square feet of meeting space. The ballroom will open onto an outdoor courtyard and connect to The Loft, the hotel’s signature restaurant and bar.

NYLO’s first hotel, NYLO Plano at Legacy, opened in Dec. 2007, in North Dallas, at the northwest corner of Headquarters Drive and Preston Road in Plano.
