Texas has some pretty unique watertowers (Luling's watermelon water tower comes to mind first!) but this water stand pipe in Oatmeal ranks right up there. Painted like a box of oatmeal, the tower promotes the annual Oatmeal Festival which actually outgrew the community of Oatmeal and had to be moved to nearby Bertram. The festival takes place every Labor Day weekend.Labels: Photo of the Day
