Cedar Park Prepares for BBQ Competition

This Saturday marks the “First Ever AT&T and Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Cedar Chopper Barbecue Cook-Off.” Held just north of RM 1431 just behind the 1890 Ranch Shopping Center.
We were just out there and there were many RVs and pickups getting into position with their cookers.
The cooks start smokin’ this evening at 5pm and the judging takes place tomorrow. The event includes these competition categories, all vying for cash prizes:
- Brisket
- 1/2 Chicken
- Spare Ribs
- All BBQ
- Cook’s Choice (no desserts)
- Beans
