The 98th annual Mardi Gras Galveston begins on February 13, continuing through Feb. 24, 2009. Here’s a sampling of the varied events planned for this year’s festivities:

TEXASTRIPPER TIP: Remember, if you’re headed to the party for more than one night, hotel accommodations remain limited on the island so make reservations before you leave!
