George Strait Package Kicks off Cowboys Stadium Grand Opening
The grand opening of the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington kicks off on June 6, 2009, with a concert by Grammy award-winner George Strait. The country music star known for "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" and other hits will be joined by Reba McEntire and to celebrate Arlington is offering a special George Strait package. The Package: Book your hotel online at www.arlington.org, and add other attractions to your trip. After you choose your hotel, you'll be able to pick the best seat in the house (in a separate transaction) to see George Strait in concert.
About the Cowboys Stadium: The world's largest, most technologically advanced sports and entertainment venue was built at a price of $1.1 billion and features two arches, the world's largest HD quality video board, the infamous hole in its retractable roof and the largest opening end zone doors of any sports venue worldwide. The stadium is slated to host the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, the 2010 NBA All-Star Game and the 2014 NCAA men's basketball Final Four, and Super Bowl XLV in 2011.
