Tall City Blues Fest, Midland, TX, July 26 – 29, 2012
Music lovers have a song in their hearts thanks to the news that Midland’s second annual ode to the blues is just around the corner. A four-day festival featuring cool tunes to beat the July heat, Tall City Blues Fest will include the talents of more than 23 performers on four stages, including:

- Kick up your heels to kick off the festivities at a free community street dance, with Nathan & the Zydeco Cha-Cha’s providing the soundtrack to the evening.
- Passing the joy of the blues to the next generation, a kids harmonica clinic for ages 4 – 12 could prove to be instrumental in the making of a future musician, while clinics in country blues finger-picking; harmonica 101; blues bass 101; advanced harmonica; songwriting and cigar-box guitar building will bring out the inner B.B.King in adults. All clinics will be held on July 28th in rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton.
- Night time is the right time for improvisational jam sessions with festival performers at Midnight Troubadour, held on Friday and Saturday night.
- From performances on stage to the artists’ appearance, Tall City Blues Fest prides itself as a family-friendly event which will also include a Family Activity Area outside of the festival grounds.
