Bryan’s official motto is “The Good Life, Texas Style,” and for two days this fall visitors can drink a toast to the city’s slogan as they enjoy a taste of the good life with the best of Texas beef and beverages.

  • Serving up sounds to please every musical palate, the David Whiteman Band will kick off the festivities on Friday night with Top 40 tunes, R&B and dance tunes. On Saturday a country-loving crowd can sing along to “Back Side of Thirty” and “Rose Colored Glasses” when Grand Ole Opry member John Conlee takes the stage, then drink in the melodies of the event’s headliner– Grammy, ACM and CMA Award winner Steve Wariner.
  • Find out which team will taste victory in the Steak Cook-Off.
  • If you have a thirst for knowledge, take a wine education class, or simply savor beverages grown by a cluster of the state’s top wineries.
  • While attendees can satisfy their hunger at any of the foodie-themed festival’s dining options, the event also offers sustenance for the soul at the Artist’s Showcase, where artisans from across the country will sell their wares.
  • Let your inner Lucy Ricado out to play as you turn your tootsies purple by participating in the Grape Stomp.
  • Lone Star little ones will enjoy jumping on bounce houses, working their way through an obstacle course, stomp grapes and much more in the Texas Reds Kids Zone.
  • The Sports Zone will score a touchdown in the hearts of football fans as they watch the Aggies take on Arkansas on three flat-screen TVs.
  • Promising Jacques Pepins can check out the chef demonstrations at the Palace Theatre, which will also be the home of the High School Culinary Competition.
  • Take a tour of Messina Hof Winery. Free shuttle service will leave from downtown Bryan every hour, on the hour. Messina Hof Winery and Resort will also host a Texas Reds Sunday brunch on September 29th, with visitors enjoying fresh fruit, pastries, omelets, prime rib and a Cheese Blintz for the price of $39.99.

…and much more!
