Get ready to enjoy Mardi Gras Gulf Coast-style as Port Arthur “laissez les bons temps rouler” during four days of frivolity held this year with a ” Safari Parade” theme.

Performers are preparing a gumbo of great tunes to please every attendee’s musical palate. Entertainers taking the stage this year include Whiskey Myers, the Randy Rogers Band, the Phillip Glynn Band, JAG, Tracey Byrd, Chris Aldoin and Nustep, Longneck Road, Stark Experiment and Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns.

The celebration commences with the Lamar State College Port Arthur parade at Carl Parker Center, and the good times continue to roll through the streets of Port Arthur each day as the Krewe of Krewes parade, the royalty march, the motorcycle showcase, the Krewe of Aurora, the Munchkin parade and the truck parade file past sightseers.
