Deep Ellum Arts Festival, Dallas, TX, April 3 – 5, 2015

On Easter weekend things will be hopping in Dallas’ entertainment district during a three-day celebration of trend-setting art, tastes and tunes.


The crowd that will gather on Crowdus St. will embark on a global gastronomic journey as they sample savory dishes from some of The Big D’s best eateries which will please every aesthetic palate. This year’s fare includes gyros from Amadeo Cuisine and Cristi-N-Ali Cuisine, the Cajun-style cooking of Good to Geaux Foods and H&M Creole Kitchen, German-inspired bratwurst and apple strudel form The Brathaus, the Italian-influenced wood fired pizza of Oh My Pizza Pie, the tried and true Texas taste of barbecue from Wilson BBQ and much more.


The festival will offer a bevy of beats from more than 100 musical artists for those who hunger for sounds that will stir the soul. Music lovers is a mellow frame of mind can enjoy folk, blues/jazz, Americana/bluegrass and country crooning, while those who want to move to a faster groove can check out the plethora of performers who will represent the genres of rock/alternative, indie, soul/R&B, pop, funky freshness, reggae/ska and punk.


The creative efforts of 200 decorative and visual artists will provide a feast for the eyes as art-loving attendees appreciate works in the mediums of painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fashion, sculpture and much more.

Fashion-forward Fidos will stroll down Main Street in style during the Pet Parade on Sunday.
