Ingredients:

1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup shortening

Cooking Instructions:

Mix all ingredients and bake at 400 degrees in greased sheet cake pan for 20 minutes.
