Granbury, Texas Travel Guide Located on Lake Granbury, this community began in 1854. Today many early buildings on the town square still recall the town's early days and have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A favorite getaway from the DFW Metroplex, the town is
home to several bed-and-breakfast inns. During the fall months, the pecan
