Grapefest in Grapevine, Texas

With a name like Grapevine, it’s no surprise that this DFW Metroplex community is home to both numerous wineries as well as the Southwest’s largest wine festival. Grapefest, scheduled every year in September, offers four days of tastings, tours, cooking demonstrations, and fine dining.

Shuttle buses transport visitors to area wineries for worry-free tastings. You can even take part in the People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic, the largest consumer judged wine competition in the United States.

Can’t make it for the festival? Grapevine’s wineries are easy to visit year around. If you’re making air connections in the D/FW International Airport, look for La Bodega Winery, the first airport winery in the world. Grapevine is home to another first: the first award-winning custom winery in the Southwest, Su Vino Winery, known for its custom winemaking, private labeling, and special events.

For more information on Grapevine and Grapefest, call the Convention and Visitors Bureau at (800) 457-6338 or visit www.grapevinetexasusa.com.
