Sam Houston Memorial Museum Complex, Huntsville Artifacts from Houston family, as well as two residences, are featured at this museum. There are also exhibits on the secession and annexation of Texas. The Woodland Home, Sam Houston's Residence was built by Sam Houston. The site has interpretive panels on the history of the home. Steamboat House is the home where Sam Houston died. Location: 1836 Sam Houston Ave.
