Freedom Fiesta and July 4th Parade
Seguin, Texas

When: July 4th

Where: activities throughout town

With over 10,000 attendees, this is called the Biggest Small Town 4th of July Parade in Texas! The annual Freedom Fiesta has been drawing onlookers and participants since the early 1900s.

The year's activities start at 8:45 with a flag raising in the town's Central Park.

At 10 am, the crowds line the streets for a patriotic parade, followed by food booths, arts and crafts, family entertainment, and kiddie rides for an old-fashioned street fair atmosphere. The event also includes a barbecue luncheon; tickets are required.

That evening grand fireworks display in Max Starcke Park caps off the day.
