Where: Plantersville (near Houston)

When: October -November

The largest Renaissance festival in the state, eight themed weekends held on a 54-acre stretch of land offer a variety of entertainment to please every faire persona. From bawdy wenches to musicians who stir the soul, the nation's top Ren fest acts grace the venue's 27 stages, while feats of derring-do are performed by knights on horseback in the jousting arena. The King's carousel and the amazing maze will enthrall little ones, while souvenir seekers will find a treasure trove of handmade gift items.
