The Page House, Georgetown, Texas

Formerly the largest bed and breakfast in Georgetown,
today the Page House serves as a special events venue, one conveniently
located adjacent to Interstate 35. This grand Queen Anne style home
dates back to 1903 when it was owned by J.M. Page, a former gold
prospector, rancher, and postmaster.
Eventually the grand three-story structure became the property of
the Horace M. Weir family. Under their ownership, the house and
grounds had their most unique role: home of "Cowboy Polo."
Stables became a training center for the cutting horses used as
polo ponies in a game identical to the original -- but with the
addition of cowboy regalia.
Today the polo barn has been converted to a meeting center for up
to 125 guests. The home itself has the been the site of many elegant
weddings; brides find a changing room upstairs and a grand staircase
to descend and begin their new life.
Location: 1000 Leander
