Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force Museum, Burnet

Here you can have a look at World War II airplanes as well as memorabilia from the men who fought the battles. The museum is open weekends only (9-5 on Saturday, 1-5 on Sunday); there is an admission fee.

Location: the Burnet Municipal Airport off US 281, 1-1/2 miles south of Burnet.
