George Washington's Birthday Celebration. This 10-day event toasts George Washington with a carnival, parades, and a concert celebrating his birthday; one of the largest events in South Texas.

Laredo International Fair and Exposition. This fair offers rides, games, exhibits, and food.

Pow Wow Festival. Native American arts and crafts, food, and intertribal dances are featured in this festival held at the Laredo Civic Center grounds.

Expomex. Arts and crafts, music, folk dancing, fireworks, carnival bring visitors to this fall event held in Nuevo Laredo (Mexico) at Carranza Park.
