Peter Pan, Weatherford


Mary Martin, best known as Broadway's Peter Pan (and mother of actor and "Dallas" star Larry Hagman) is immortalized in this statue in front of Weatherford's public library.

Polka Dancing, Walburg


October is just weeks ago and that means Oktoberfests across Texas, especially in the historic German communities of central Texas. This polka dance took place at the Walburg Restaurant in tiny Walburg, just northeast of Georgetown.
