Glass Bottom Boats, San Marcos, Texas
Children and adults alike enjoy a trip riding along on the San Marcos River looking at the fish, rocks and cold clear water thru the glass bottom boats. There is a great view and later, when you get a chance to swim in the rivers in the Texas Hill Country, you have a good idea of what is in the water. I do not know what they have for entertainment this summer but usually they have young women who do tricks underwater and who also feed some of the fish by hand. The cost is reasonable and this is a trip that most Texas children get to take at least once during their school years.--contributed by S.Davis, Center, Texas
