We recently returned from a trip to Temple and took a side trip to Zabcikville, located about 10 miles east of Temple on Texas Highway 53. The town is very small but there's still a good reason to go there: Green’s Sausage House. We had lunch of sausage burgers then picked up some smoked turkey and sausage in the adjacent meat market. The meal was inexpensive and the restaurant had a lot of local atmosphere; we'd recommend it to your readers! --Louise, Waco, Texas
