Palm House Museum, Round Rock

Built in the 1860s, this historic home now contains a two-room museum and the local Chamber of Commerce. In the kitchen and parlor hang photos and artifacts from Round Rock's early days. Look for the silver bowl whose lid was blown off during the Sam Bass shoot-out.

The museum also doubles as the Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center, a handy place to obtain information and assistance with your questions.

Location: 212 E. Main St.
