Round Top Inn

Stay in historic structures that have been painstakingly restored to the days of Round Top's earliest pioneers.

The inn spans a city block, formerly the property of Johann Traugott Wandke, an herbalist and organ maker known to have handcrafted seven pipe organs from local cedar during his residence here. His home is part of the inn, with a living room and modern day bathroom downstairs and a picturesque bedroom tucked under the eaves upstairs.

Rockers invite guests to sit out on the porch and enjoy small town life. Other structures at the inn date back from 1840 to 1879, and all are filled with period antiques and accessories that recall the area's early days.

Location: TX 237
