Prepared by the Bell County Historical Commission, this cassette tour directs you past 22 historic Salado sites. You'll see "driving tape tour" signs throughout town that correspond to an explanation on the cassette.

Budget about two hours for the excursion, which explains the history and background behind each location.

The tapes are available for rent at Salado Galleries and the Civic Center (601 N. Main Street about half a mile north of downtown).
