Although Trinity traces its roots in Texas to three small Presbyterian institutions founded before the Civil War, (making it one of the oldest universities in the state) the University itself was moved to San Antonio from Waxahachie in 1942 and to its present site in 1945. Its striking campus skyline can be seen from many
areas of town, especially its familiar bell tower. Architects O'Neil
Ford and Bartlett Cocke designed the campus buildings. Today Trinity is no longer a religious institution,
calling itself as a professionally oriented liberal arts university.
Its current enrollment is 2,500 mostly undergraduate students. It
prides itself on its dedicated, distinguished faculty and bright
students, and its small class size. Location: 715 Stadium Drive,
