Holiday Inn San Antonio -- Market Square

Found near Market Square (close but not as close as the La Quinta), this is a great accommodation for visitors who want to make the Market Square their home base. (You'll find convenient VIA transportation options from the market as well.)

The outside of the building is styled like an old mission, in honor of the unique history of the city of San Antonio. Guests of the hotel have access to a pool, exercise room, coin-operated laundry, concierge services, a gift shop, newsstand, safety deposit boxes, meeting facilities with six meeting rooms for groups of up to 300 people, wake up calls, copy service, fax services, and complimentary parking, all found on-property.

The Convenience Cafe is at the hotel and serves a speedy breakfast, lunch and dinner for guests who are in a hurry to see San Antonio. For guests looking to relax after a long day, a lounge serves cocktails.

Less than a mile from the hotel lie Market Square, the River Walk, River Center Mall, the Alamo, King William Historical District, and the Alamodome.
