Holiday Inn Riverwalk

Although technically on the River Walk, this hotel is not on the main stretch of River Walk like the Hyatt or Hilton. This high-rise hotel is 12 stories tall and has 313 comfortable rooms to offer visitors. Accommodations are done up in a Southwestern color scheme of oranges and blues.

Guests of the Holiday Inn River Walk can stroll to many of San Antonio’s main attractions. The River Walk, the Alamodome, Tower of the Americas, Market Square, River Center Mall, the Alamo, and La Villita are less than a mile away. There is a restaurant on site that serves casual meals with a view of the River Walk.

Along with a heated outdoor swimming pool, you'll find a Jacuzzi tub (not necessary during San Antonio's long summer.) While the neighborhood is filled with numerous dining venues, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel's Windows On The River.

Among the amenities are cable TV, data ports, voicemail and work desks. Many rooms overlook the River Walk. Although these are the highest priced, they are well worth the additional cost, especially at night. You'll find the rooms here a bargain when compared with many of the surrounding hotels.

Location: 217 N. St. Mary’s St., downtown
