San Antonio/Riverwalk Drury Inn & Suites This Drury Inn, right on the River Walk, is a historic landmark. The building was erected in the 1920s and has since been restored to its original beauty. The period architecture of the building has been maintained but nonetheless, the guest rooms are equipped with such modern amenities as voice mail, coffeemakers, and irons and ironing boards. Guests have access to a 24-hour business center, an exercise room, fax service, laundry services, meeting rooms, and a rooftop pool. Free hot breakfast is served every morning, and free beverages and snacks are served daily in the evenings . Hotel parking is available for a fee. Dining: A Texas Land & Cattle Company Steakhouse is on the premises, and the many restaurants of the River Walk are only a few steps away. The Alamodome, the Buckhorn Museum, the Children’s Museum, the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, the Empire Theatre, La Villita, the Majestic Theatre, Market Square, the River Walk, Rivercenter Mall, and the Alamo are all within walking distance of the hotel. 201 North St. Mary’s Street(201) 212–5200, (800) DRURY–INN www.druryhotels.com |
