Breakfast is a busy time, and locals start their day here with huevos rancheros, chiliquiles (scrambled eggs mixed with cheese, onions, and strips of corn tortillas, served with refried beans) or breakfast tacos, one of our personal favorites. All feature what we consider to be the best tortillas in San Antonio. For lunch, Tex-Mex delights comprise the menu: enchiladas, carne asada, quesadillas. Strolling troubadours take requests for Mexican ballads and give the restaurant a truly authentic air. Just as authentic is the adjacent panaderia, a Mexican bakery exuding its own tasty aromas: fresh tortillas and polvorones, cookies topped with cinnamon and sugar. Open 24 hours daily.
