San Antonio Shopping Malls

Alamo Quarry Mall

Alamo Quarry is definitely an upscale shopping destination. Located in the ritzy Alamo Heights area, the mall is constructed on the site of an old factory. The builders maintained the cement plant's smokestacks to give character to its steel and glass exterior. Inside, you'll find the usual mall array of shops and eating establishments.

  • Location: 255 E. Basse Street, Alamo Heights

Central Park Mall

Central Park Mall is a popular shopping destination on the north side with something for every age level. Besides the usual mall shops, it features the Little Theatre off Broadway which stages children's plays as well as the Park Place nightclub which draws a late-night crowd.

  • Location: 622 Northwest Loop 410

Crossroads Mall

This westside property houses over 70 shops as well as major retailers and cinemas.

  • Location: 4522 Fredericksburg Road

The Forum

The Forum is a Texas-sized outdoor mall with several major stores and chain eateries. Selma is directly north of San Antonio on IH-35.

  • Location: 8320 Agora Parkway, Selma

Huebner Oaks

This is another large, outdoor shopping center with several national chain stores, restaurants, and movie theaters.

  • Location: 11745 IH-10 West

Ingram Park Mall

Located on the city's northwest side, this mall has all the offerings one expects from a large, modern mall, large anchors, specialty shops and restaurants.

  • Location: 6301 Northwest Loop 410

Los Patios

Los Patios is a quiet retreat in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the Loop. This 20-acre open-air mall is filled with specialty shops. The shopping area also has three indoor/outdoor restaurants. But, as excellent as its shopping is, the real charm of Los Patios lies in its setting. Located on the banks of Salado Creek, the retail area is nestled within majestic live oaks and exotic plants.

  • Location: 2015 N.E. Loop 410

McCreless Mall

One of the few malls on the south side of the city, McCreless has been known for a long time not only for its shopping and eateries, but for its most distinctive feature, the full-sized carousel in the center of the mall. A favorite with families with young children.

  • Location: 4100 S. New Braunfels Avenue

North Star Mall

Shopping is more cosmopolitan at North Star Mall, the priciest mall in town. With high end anchor stores, you'll find the best money can buy here. North Star Mall is easy to spot on the Loop--just look for the boots. This 40-foot tall pair of cowboy footwear was the creation of sculptor Robert Wade.

  • Location: San Pedro and Loop 410, San Antonio

Rivercenter Mall

Rolling Oaks Mall

In addition to the usual mall stores in one of the fastest growing areas of town.

  • Location: 6909 North Loop 1604 East

South Park Mall

A mall located southwest of downtown, off of I-35.

  • Location: 2310 Southwest Military Drive

Windsor Park Mall

Another mall featuring a kid-pleasing carousel, this northeast side mall includes several department stores as well as a host of specialty shops and restaurants.

  • Location: 7900 North I-35
