Dale’s Essenhaus
Walburg, Texas

Less atmospheric than the larger Walburg Restaurant, Dale’s is also known both for its menu and its live music. The restaurant is especially noted for its Dale’s Walburger, a hamburger served with grilled onions, but fried catfish (our favorite) and chicken fried steak are tops as well.

Outside, the biergarten is open Friday and Saturday nights from April through October; food and drink are also served outside.

Hours: The restaurant is closed Sunday, Monday; it is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
