Walburg, Texas Travel Guide

This small German community located north of Georgetown is a favorite weekend getaway for good German food. First named Concordia, this community was later renamed Walburg by the local storekeeper after his hometown in Germany.

The community has always been small although it represents many immigrant groups including Germans, Wendish, Czechoslovakian, Austrian, and Swiss.
